Sonnel David-Longe is now a Certified Mediator for Civil Non-Family Matters under the Mediation Act Chap 5:32.
What is Mediation?
Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution through which parties seek to resolve a conflict with the help of an impartial third- party (the mediator). Through facilitating dialogue, generating a range of possible solutions, and even direct engagement with each party to the dispute, this voluntary process helps parties to arrive at resolution without litigation.
Mediation is usually more cost-effective, less time-consuming, less adversarial, and more party-driven than traditional litigation. Additionally, the process is confidential but can lead to a binding and legally enforceable agreement between the parties.
Therefore, while Sonnel remains willing and able to represent parties in court proceedings, she is also now also available to assist our clients should they wish to consider alternative dispute resolution through mediation.
